General liability

The person whose name appears in the booking is responsible for all guests and visitors on the premises for the duration of their stay. The owners and operators of the motel are not responsible for damage or loss of personal property on the premises. Vehicles may be parked free of charge in marked carpark spaces at the owner’s risk.

Payment and booking deposit

A deposit equal to the value of the first night’s accommodation is payable at the time of making the reservation. Accommodation and service charges for the entire period of your stay are to be settled in full at the time of check-in. Payment upon check-out is not permitted. Valid credit card details are to be provided for the purposes of a security guarantee. Payments by debit card or cash require an additional security deposit of $200 to be held or pre-authorised in respect of potential loss or damage. Charges for mini-bar items not settled at the time of check-out shall be debited against the security deposit.

Cancellation

All cancellations shall be debited the cost of the first night as non-refundable. Cancellations without notice during multiple night stays shall also be debited the night of the date of departure. Cancellations of bookings including discount rates, package deals, group bookings, and special events (eg. sporting weekends) shall be debited the cost of all rooms and nights for the full period.

Damages and cleaning

You are liable for the cost of any loss or damage in relation to your stay, including but not limited to, the effects of smoking, pets, or cooking in the rooms. You may be debited up to $200 for any loss or damage incurred, including cleaning, repairs, and replacement items, at the sole discretion of the motel manager.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the rooms, indoor spaces, or public areas. A smoking area is available beside the pool entry gate. Legal penalties apply to smoking in unauthorised areas and interfering with fire equipment such as smoke detectors.

Children

Children must be accompanied by at least one adult at all times, and in all locations, on the premises. One child, up to the age of 12 months, accompanied at least one adult may exceed the permitted occupancy per room. More than one child, and all children over 12 months in age, require allocated beds.

Parking

Parking is available for all guests with one space per room. Undercover parking is available on-site although some spaces are not fully covered. Additional parking is available in the street (directly across the road) and in nearby streets, which may be suitable for trucks. Guests park on the property at their own risk, including valuables in, or with, the vehicles. Your attention is drawn to the indicated carpark ceiling heights.

Gym access – Anytime Fitness

Guests of the Matador Motor Inn have full access to the corporate membership arrangement with Anytime Fitness in Coffs Harbour. The electronic key is available from reception, allowing all guests (excluding visitors) 24/7 access to the gym. A fee of $50 will be charged for loss/replacement of the key. The gym is situated at Level 1, 92-96 Harbour Drive (tel. 02 6650 9088). Guests using this facility are bound by the terms and conditions of the fitness centre, and must conduct themselves in accordance with appropriate courtesy.

Access considerations and special needs

We value the importance of providing the best possible services and comfort to every guest although we may not be able to fully meet the needs of every person. Please advise us in advance if you have any specific requirements and we shall endeavour to assist where possible. Authorised service animals are welcome on site at any time, whilst pets and other animals are not permitted. If you believe you may have difficulty in responding to an alarm or emergency for any reason, please make this known at the time of check-in.

Package deals and discounts

Package deals, special offers, group discounts, and voucher codes, remain subject to room availability and may not be available at all times of the year. All package deals are payable in full at the time of booking and are fully non-refundable.
